MUSHROOM, MUSHROOM! It’s a badger badger badger badger badger badger…Now that I’ve re-infected you with this most ancient of earworms, let’s talk fungi. Fascinating lifeforms, both above the surface and below it, a networked organism that communicates and enriches all manner of plant life around it, even while sustaining what fauna it doesn’t poison. Now, take some of these mushrooms (metaphorically) and make them bigger! Whether deep below ground in some gigantic cavern, or having sprouted mysteriously beneath a cloudy sky, whether psychedelic and colourful, red and menacing, or tinged a sickly green, this path through a mushroom forest, with its animated spores and miasmas is certain to delight and mystify your players!
